The GP helpline provides access to a qualified GP via a 24/7, 365 days-a-year telephone helpline. The GP can provide you with advice, reassurance or guidance on a wealth of medical matters at a time to suit you.

This means no wasted trips to the GP surgery or time spent waiting for an appointment during working hours. Also available is an e-Consultation service through 'Your Online Doctor'. You can book virtual face-to-face consultations with a GP in the comfort of their own home or at work, providing a more in-depth and specific diagnosis for certain injuries or illnesses.

In some cases, you might be reluctant to go to your GP despite potentially severe symptoms due to the inconvenience of taking time out of a busy work schedule. There is no need to shrug off pain or illness when a call to the GP helpline could identify a problem that needs to be addressed urgently.
